Step-by-step guide on how to create your NabyPay Account in just 10 minutes.

Introduction

Creating your NabyPay Account is quick and easy, and to fully register by following the steps below usually only takes 10 minutes, and then you're all setup and ready to take payments using the NabyPay App.

  1. Phone Number

  2. About Information

  3. Add your Company Details

  4. Choose a Display Name

  5. Add a Company Photo

  6. Select your Payment Method(s)

  7. Stripe Registration

  8. Set a Passcode

NabyPay is only available for residents of the United Kingdom (?)

1. Phone Number

Because payments are taken using your phone, we use your phone number to authenticate your account, and its super quick and easy!

This will take about 30 seconds

What you will need:

  • Phone Number (+44, United Kingdom only)

Steps

  1. Enter your phone number

  2. Wait to receive a text message

  3. Enter your One Time Passcode (OTP)

2. About Information

Let us know who the account holder is, that's probably you!

This will take about 60 seconds

What you will need:

  • Full Name

  • Email Address

  • Date of Birth (you must be 18 or over)

  • Country of Residence (United Kingdom only)

Steps

  1. Enter your information.

  2. Tap 'Next' to save and progress.

3. Add your Company Details

Let us know what you do, you can be either Self-Employed or a Registered Company.

This will take about 60 seconds

What you will need:

  • Company Name

  • Company Address

  • Company Registration Number

Steps

  1. Enter your Company Name...

    1. Self-Employed - This is your Trading Name.

    2. Registered Company - As listed on Companies House.

  2. Enter your Company Address

  3. Enter your Company Registration Number

    1. Self-Employed - Leave this blank.

    2. Registered Company - As listed on Companies House.

  4. Tap 'Next' to save and progress.

4. Choose your Display Name

Choose to add a display name so your customers recognise who they are paying, this could be either your Company Name or a Trading Name.

This will take about 60 seconds

What you will need:

  • Company Name

  • Trading Name

Steps

  1. Enter a Display Name

  2. Tap 'Next' to save and progress.

5. Add your Company Photo

Choose to add a photo so your customers recognise who they are paying, this could be your company logo, a recognisable symbol, or your photograph if you are self-employed.

This will take about 60 seconds

What you will need:

  • Photograph

  • Company Logo

Steps

  1. Choose a Photo

  2. Tap 'Next' to save and progress.

6. Select your Payment Method(s)

It is now time to choose the payment methods you would like to accept, you can change this at any time in the NabyPay App Settings.

This will take about 30 seconds

  1. Choose to Accept the use of Card Payments

  2. Choose to Accept the use of Easy Bank Transfers

7. Stripe Registration

We have partnered with Stripe who are a world leader in secure payment processing. Because of this you will need to complete the Stripe registration to take payments using the NabyPay App. It's quick and easy!

8. Set your Passcode

To secure your NabyPay Account, set a four digital passcode only you know.

This will take about 30 seconds

Steps

  1. Enter your passcode

  2. Confirm your passcode by entering it again
